The project is composed by three phases which allows families in the city of Braga to join each of the phases of this project. Families or legal representatives (host institutions) must fill in the application form or go to the ‘Balcão Único’ Portal. The form must be saved in .pdf format and submitted via email to primeiraspaginas@cm-braga.pt. Registration will only be finalised once the form has been submitted and the questionnaire has been answered.

Registration for this programme does not involve any costs. 

BIRTH AND ADOPTION SUPPORT

Braga City Council has a programme to encourage births and adoptions that aims to help increase the birth rate in the municipality. 

The financial support (200€) is assigned to children born between 1st January and 31st December whose families have been tax resident in the municipality of Braga for at least one year prior to the date of birth. This incentive is also granted to adopted children aged 6 and under.  

The request for support must be made via the application form or at the ‘Balcão Único’ Portal.
